Topic Theme Paper - Is it a Good Idea?

Topic Theme Paper - Is it a Good Idea?A Topic Theme Paper is a way of comparing what you have learned about a topic to the number of people who would take a certain course. If your subject has many students, a particular topic should be chosen that has a lot of students, but not necessarily the right students to learn it.Let's look at this more closely - Learning with an audience. Let's say that you want to teach a film about three soldiers who try to evade capture in the war. You are going to pick a movie that has many actors but no extras. Instead of using a movie title, you can use something like 'Lie, Cheat, and Steal: A Film Story of Three Lovable Soldiers'Free Soldiers - A Film by Ronald Taylor.'You have a larger group of characters and events, but it will look less formal and not have the different music and colors associated with a film. This makes it easy for the class to know what they want to study. The point is to teach the class division to determine what they want to do with the learning process. The other point of a topic is to help you determine which topics to test out and how to distribute the test groups. Since the class is not actually going to study for the testing, it is important to come up with a good idea of where everyone is at with their study time so that you can better judge how much time is needed for testing.I'll give an example of a subject to consider in this regard. You may think you have plenty of students ready to study such as a History lesson or a Math lesson, but do you really know how many people actually read these subjects every day?If you do not do enough quizzing to determine that student's needs are met, then you will need to decide on an assignment. It may be easier for you to test a sample topic as opposed to having to analyze a full course.A Topic Theme Paper can help you decide which students you need to focus on so that you have the best chance of improving. Hopefully these ideas will help you decide on what topi cs to test out, as well as deciding what to study so that you know exactly how much time you have available to teach your classes.
